So TBS now runs Dawson’s Creek re-runs in the mornings. Who are they targeting with this? Unemployed high school drop-outs?

Missing Out On Millions
Why hasn’t DirectTv or Time-Warner or somebody thought to add al-Jazeera to their line-up? Even put it on pay per view, folks would eat that up.
Something Stupid
Just needed to post an item of complete irrelevance. I made a purchase today that I cannot believe it took the world this long to create. Scented garbage bags. FUCKING GENIUS!
Thinking Of…
Peace, Love, Hope, Praise and Gratitude to all of my friends in the Middle East. I don’t want to get into all of my thoughts on the military conflict that the United States is currently involved. I know that none of my friends on the other side of the world are reading this, but know that rarely a minute passes that I don’t think of you. I look forward to seeing all of them SOON, sharing stories and raising a glass to the accomplishments and sacrifices they have contributed to the world.
I’ll Remember… Jesus?
Someone please buy me tickets to “Jesus Christ Superstar” in April at the Fox. Yeah, it’s Webber and Rice and all that, but Sebastion Bach as Jesus? I wish they’d just gone with an all metal cast (who wouldn’t want to see Jayne Lane as Judas) l__l I can just see Sebastion performing miracles such as turning flat hair in to big poofy hair, singing notes so high and long they can be heard by his followers all around the world, being birthed by a groupie who was a virgin (giving Kip Winger head doesn’t count) and finding a small piece of fabric to tear a whole in acid washed jeans when it was thought no more holes could fit. Praise be to Sebastion.
What Matters
Whenever the country is in great danger, it is always comforting to know the local electronic media will be right on top of important issues like “how early do I need to get to the airport today?”
In The News
**WARNING: THIS WILL INTEREST NO ONE**
Saw an unexpected big story on the news this morning. The every five minutes or so traffic updates kept talking about the addition of a traffic light at GA 211 and Rockwell Church Road. Well, I must say, that’s only about 20 years overdue. This should greatly reduce the number of traffic accidents in Barrow County.
Damn Dirty Dogs
I know I am in the minority, but I think the University of Georgia made the right decission by electing to remove its men’s basketball team from post-season play. See, a week from now, the entire nation will be neck-deep in March Madness. There will be too much bracketology going on to spend much time thinking about the problems in Athens. So, the University just saved itself about three weeks of more negative publivity on college basketball’s biggest stage. And with a team that’s probably going to have to forfeit all 19 of its wins as it is, any money gained from these games would not have stayed in Athens. Now, let’s look at would’ve happend on the court. This team would be playing without its head coach, usually not a recipie for success. Add on to that, two key players being suspended from a team that really only goes seven deep. Maybe, they would’ve gotten past an awful Arkansas team. After that they’d be leaving the Cresent City on Friday night. Then, with a sure drop in their NCAA tournament seeding (to probably at least a six, maybe a seven) there would be a high probability of a first round exit. So, the University also spared itself two embarassing losses that the whole country would be talking about. It is unfortunate for the players (on the 1% chance there is a clean one on the team) and fans who will suffer from this. But a big up to Coach Dooley for having the foresight ot make the difficult, but correct, call. Now, as far as the future goes, Jarvis Hayes will probably have already announced he is leaving for the draft by the time you read this (that’s a fact, just not a public one yet). Jim Harrick is fired, they just can’t announce it as such yet. The University is already gonna take a severe financial hit on all of this and a lawsuit from Harrick (ala Knight at Indiana) would only add to the money woes. Let’s hope that Mike Adams and his heavy-handed, parking in handicapped spaces ass is right on their tails going west on Ga 316.
It’s True… But Sad
Man, just when WWE appeared to be moving in the right direction, they get just about the worst news imaginable. Kurt Angle needs major neck surgery, and with recovery time, will probobly miss at least a year. So, no more ***** matches, no more entertaining interviews, no more superstar making everyone he steps in the ring with look like gold, no more Wrestlemania XIX match with Brock Lesner. He truley has been the MVP of the indstry the past couple of years, and he will be sorely missed. Hope he comes back better than ever. At least he’ll get to let his hair grow back out.
sports and tv
You know those moments when you realize you’re are just a sicko sports fan? Like spending two hours watching HS girl’s basektball. I mean one team only scored five freaking points in the first quarter, it was just painful to watch, but I sat through it all… even the overtime.
