About

January 13th, 2012

Andrew Healan leads an existence mainly comprised of too little sleep and too much whiskey. While he considers himself quite flawed, the Arby’s Instagram account once assured him, “You’re perfect, Andrew.” A Georgia native, he’s performed from coast to coast, as well as throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. He has appeared at Red Clay Comedy Festival, Memphis Comedy Festival and Dallas Comedy Festival. He’s also opened for more bands than anyone ever should, and shown his acting abilities in several unaired pilots. He founded the Eiron Alliance which connects charities with comedians for volunteer opportunities. He is the CEO of Defense Mechanism Records which produces shows, podcasts and albums. Healan lives in New Orleans, where he hosts the storytelling event Close Me Out, the comedy pop psychology spectacle I’m Listening, and the podcast Clean Burn.
